Who we are

We are Fabius and Adamus, a group of two guys from Europe interested in improving ourselves and creating anything from software to selling physical products and beyond.

We made some projects in the past because of this need to forge new things together, making it our main value. With this value in mind, a new website was born: Aflowa.com, our first shared big project.

What is Aflowa

It is the founding pillar for every major project we worked on and a way to connect everything under one name, using this website to show it to the world. The projects are the building blocks from which is this website made.

The blogs here are about active projects we are working on and self-improvement topics, in which we are interested. The content on this website is based on our experience, research, and individual opinions.

However, we know that writing high-value articles is a distant goal that can be achieved by working regularly and creating something meaningful.

Our Team

Adamus

App Developer

Adamus is a self-taught programmer, who has a long time experience in this field. That is the reason why is he working on Aflowas first project: quote app. All from designing to updating it regularly is on his to-do list every day, giving value to Aflowa as a whole. However, he is ready to work on many ideas that arent related to creating software.

Fabius

Website Developer

Fabius had some experience with SEO optimilization and a little bit of programming in the past, so he decided to take on the role of a website developer. Overall maintainance and design is also his responsibility, giving him experience to further work on projects where these skills are needed and enabling him to increase Aflowas product range.

Our Story

The Inspiration

The former principal of our school showed us stories of successful people in the world and then discussed them with the class later. It was at this moment we realized that achieving something great is not an impossible dream.
April 2018

Afast & Nerf Guns

The first project was Afast. It was a dropshipping model, but we didn’t realize it until some years later. Nerf Guns followed, being the same thing, but a different brand. We were selling Nerf blasters and even created a website.

Both were abandoned quite quickly as we couldn’t, because of our age, sell products legally.
November 2018

Scratch Games

We decided to learn a new skill: programming. Scratch was a good way to visualize how computers work, so we started working on some projects. After creating numerous games we realized its limitations and moved on.

Little Shop

While in school, we created a place to sell snacks that weren’t sold in the official school snack bar. We made a budget, bought snacks, calculated prices, built a movable “little shop” and started selling. It was our first shared investment.

Our revenue was double the initial cost, making a good profit. However, to this day we don’t know where 60% of the profit went because it was missing. At least we know from this experience to put money in a safe place next time…
September – October 2020

Covid Pandemic & The Split

The pandemic gave us time to improve in all aspects of our lives. However, the lack of physical contact split us for a while in terms of doing projects together.

Adamus began to learn how to code on a deeper level, creating various projects and becoming a better programmer overall. He worked on several games while getting experience in 3D modelling, 2D digital art, creating music, and much more.

Fabius wanted to understand the world more deeply. He read more than 20 books about psychology, finances and philosophy while beginning to understand that it is far away from enough. In the meantime, he has done some individual projects.
January 2021 – November 2022

Founding Meeting

This is when we came to an agreement that we would create a new name and go in a new direction. After many ideas, the name Aflowa was picked. We bought the aflowa.com domain and started working on our projects.

We decided to create this website to visualize all of our current projects while writing blogs about general self-improvement advice, ideas and personal progress.
August 2023
